About the formats
- PDF document
- PDF keeps a document's layout identical on every device, which makes it the standard for sharing and printing.
- JPEG image
- JPG (JPEG) is the most widely supported photo format. It uses lossy compression, so files are small and open everywhere, at the cost of some detail.
- PNG image
- PNG is a lossless image format with transparency support. It's ideal for screenshots, logos and graphics with sharp edges.

Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. The conversion runs inside your browser using WebAssembly, so your files never leave your device. Nothing is sent to our servers.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not yet. Remove the password first. Note05 tells you which files it couldn't read.
How many PDFs can I merge?
Up to 5 on the free plan, and as many as your device can handle with Pro.
