- MOV is Apple's QuickTime format, used by iPhones and Macs. Files are often large and don't play everywhere.

- WebM is an open video format designed for the web. Browsers play it natively, but many editors and Apple devices don't.

Are my files uploaded?
No. The conversion runs inside your browser using WebAssembly, so your files never leave your device. Nothing is sent to our servers.
How big can my video files be?
Up to 200 MB each on the free plan and 2 GB with Pro. Very large files depend on your device's memory.
Why is the first conversion slower?
The first time, your browser downloads the converter (a few MB). It's cached, so later conversions start right away. Where your browser supports it, video uses your device's hardware encoder.
