Formats

About the formats

TIFF image
TIFF is a high-quality format used in scanning, printing and publishing. Files are large and browsers can't display them.
JPEG image
JPG (JPEG) is the most widely supported photo format. It uses lossy compression, so files are small and open everywhere, at the cost of some detail.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded?

No. The conversion runs inside your browser using WebAssembly, so your files never leave your device. Nothing is sent to our servers.

Will converting TIFF to JPG lose quality?

JPG uses lossy compression. At quality 90 the difference is very hard to see; lower the quality for smaller files.

Is it free?

Yes. The free plan converts up to 3 files at a time, up to 50 MB each. Note05 Pro ($5/month) removes ads and raises the limits to 100 files and 2 GB per file.
